In fight against pandemic, Dhanush Foundation started COVID-19 helpline. A free telemedicine services across the states in Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
During the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, public health system was highly stressed with limited infrastructure and shortage of health workers. The panic situation quickly gripped the entire nation. Citizens were not able to access the reliable doctors/physicians who can consult them and guide for their treatment management.
Dhanush Foundation came forward to provide solution in this fight against pandemic. More than 3900+ Health Volunteers (Arogya Mitras) were trained to use telemedicine application and connect with patients in their respective state locations.
The initiative reached out to 20 million people from urban and rural areas across these states.
Under the aegis of our parent organization, we launched several initiatives at these eUPHCs to support and provide relief to millions of people during COVID. Dhanush foundation with the support of civil society volunteers organized following activities at these centers:
